Send complete database to technical support

You can send the complete database to GPS Technical Support in particular cases, upon explicit request by technical support.

This feature is available from the Tools menu. The GPS program will terminate and the utility program that allows you to send the database will start, see below:

The data that will be sent consist of:

complete database of patients, examinations, analyses and photos
configuration files
log files
temporary files of the GPS application

We recommend not to use the GPS to avoid damaging files while they are being compressed.

Send data manually

If you cannot send data through the procedure described above, you can perform the operations manually.

Data to send are stored in the folder data, described in GPS folders and files.

To send the folder contents, we recommend to use Windows folder compression or another compression program.

To compress folders using Windows folder compression, do as follows:

from GPS main menu, go to: Tools / Folders / Data folder.
a window containing 4 folders will be opened
close the GPS program: otherwise, folders will be locked by GPS
select the 4 folders
right-click the selected folders and choose the menu item Send to / Compressed folder
a .ZIP file will be created with a default name; it is advisable to name it DatiGPS.zip

At the end of the compression, send the DatiGPS.zip file to technicalsupport@globalposturalsystem.com.
