Where linear calibration is stored
The linear calibration related to Podata is typically carried out once, when configuring the system for the first time.
The linear calibration data are stored in the data of each examination. Therefore, each examination can have a specific calibration.
This information may seem redundant, but it is actually necessary for two reasons:
Last saved linear calibration
The last linear calibration is also saved to a file so that it can be entered automatically in new examinations without repeating it at each new examination.
If linear calibration needs to be changed in the course of time, old examinations will retain the old calibration, while new examinations will have the new calibration.
Linear calibration can be changed any time, even though it is, ideally, an operation that should be carried out only once.
