Automatic creation of the ‘Type of photo’

This feature is automatically activated only in case of examinations created with a previous version of GPS 5.0, e.g. GPS 4.7 (see also GPS4).

These examinations might come from importing patients and examinations, or as a result of import data from a previous version.

This feature is activated as the user loads an examination.

If the examination includes photos with no Type of photo configuration, the type of photo will be created automatically.

Automatic creation is used only to assign a descriptive type to the photo, while the other configuration parameters (for instance, the acquisition physical device) are not necessary as they are optional parameters for viewing the examination, despite being essential for creating a new one.

The acquisition parameters might come from another PC and therefore they might not be correct for the current PC.
