Introduction
The USBXPress driver is used to interface the PoData or the CervicalTest with the computer through a USB port.
While installing the driver, a PS02 code might appear as the name of the device connected to the USB port: PS02 is the name of the main electronic component, internal to PoData, used to interface the device with the computer.
The driver must be installed only when the GPS is installed for the first time; it might also be necessary to update the driver, but only in particular cases: see Updating the USBXPress driver.
Requirements
Installation of the driver is built into the GPS software. The requirements are:
Installing the driver
The driver installs automatically, and is launched when the first GPS task is done, if devices like the PoData or the CervicalTest units are enabled.
The driver can also be installed via the menu: Tools > Installation of USBXPress driver
Example:
If a more recent driver has already been installed, a message may pop up. If this is the case, it is not necessary to install the driver and the GPS is ready for use.

Once the driver has been installed, the GPS recommends rebooting the PC to complete the installation.
