Import GPS4 linear calibration

The PoData  linear calibration  is a type of data belonging to the examination; therefore, it is used in the import and export features.

In GPS4 this type of data did not belong to the examination, but was a general type of data concerning all examinations. For this reason, linear calibration will not be imported if data are imported from GPS4.

Photo zoom percentage and linear calibration

When you acquire a photo in PoData, the photo is stored according to the parameters set by the type of photo and,  above all, according to the zoom percentage.

Linear calibration depends on the zoom percentage as linear calibration determines the conversion ratio between photo pixels and millimeters.

Two different photos, acquired with the same camera but with a different zoom percentage, will require two different linear calibrations because the pixel size of the two photos will be different.
