"Advanced balance" refers to a set of tests based on the PoData device.
The result of the test consists of graphs and numeric values.
Before performing a test, you will need first to select a patient and an examination on which to operate. The relevant selection window will open automatically if these have not been selected yet.
To select another patient, create a new examination or a new patient, simply click the Open or create an examination button or the patient and examinations management button, in the case of advanced user mode.
Operations
Operations are enabled depending on the test status and the selected examination condition.
Delete and repeat examination in the same conditions...
This operation is enabled only if a test for the selected examination condition has already been performed.
This operation deletes the test and makes it possible to perform a new one.
Repeat the positioning of virtual sensors
This operation is enabled only if the virtual sensors have already been positioned.
Before carrying out this operation, the program warns that it will delete all the measurements for all the test conditions associated with the examination under way.
See positioning virtual sensors.
Repeat photo acquisition
The operation is enabled only if a photo has already been acquired.
Before carrying out this operation, the program warns that it will delete all the measurements for all the test conditions associated with the examination under way.
No-load calibration of platform
The operation performs a new initial no-load calibration.
Configuration
It includes some special operations
Position real sensors
It repeats the operation of positioning real sensors
Linear calibration
It carries out a linear calibration
Options
These options allow you to change window characteristics.
Each option can be enabled or disabled with a mouse click. When an option is enabled, a check mark (√) appears next to it.
Available options are:
Original size
If this option is enabled, the photo is displayed at the same size as at the time of acquisition.
This option is normally unnecessary because photo acquisition must or should be configured so as to use the resolution considered to be optimal, based on monitor resolution and with the window at maximum size (see Auto Button).
In particular cases, e.g. for tests imported from computers with larger monitors, this option allows the photo and the graph of the center of gravity to be viewed at their original size. In this case, to view the image - which will be larger than the monitor - you can use the horizontal and vertical scroll bars that will appear in the window, as shown below:
Display values next to graphical points
If this option is enabled, the values of the weights and the percentages that form part of the numeric values will be displayed on the image, in correspondence to the virtual sensors and centers of gravity.
Example:
View linear calibration
If this option is enabled, the linear calibration is displayed on the image.

Buttons
The buttons located in the lower part of the window are enabled according to the test status and the selected examination condition.
Charts Button
This button is enabled only if a test for the selected examination condition has already been performed.
Pressing the button will display the FFT graphs window.
Back Button
This button allows you to go back to the previous status, e.g. on completion of a test. Pressing this button deletes the test and allows you to perform a new one
Stop Button
This button is enabled only during a test or while viewing a test.
Pressing the button will stop the current operation.
Acquire photo Button
This button is visible only if a photo has not been acquired yet.
Pressing the button will start the photo acquisition
Start of examination Button
This button is visible only if a test for the selected examination condition has yet to be performed.
Pressing the button will start the advanced balance test
View examination Button
This button is visible only if a test for the selected examination condition has already been performed.
Pressing this button will allow you to have a dynamic view of the test, see View examination.
