Type of webcam acquisition libraries

This specifies which type of photograph acquisition library must be used.

The libraries available and their characteristics are as indicated below:

DS type acquisition libraries:

• These are software libraries that allow the acquisition parameters to be set manually.
• They do not allow a number of webcams to be connected to the same model simultaneously.
• It does not allow the "Crop photograph" function to be used

DS type acquisition libraries + automatic webcam characteristics detection

• These are software libraries that allow the acquisition parameters to be set manually.
• They allow the characteristics available on the webcam connected to be detected automatically.
• They do not allow a number of webcams to be connected to the same model simultaneously.
• It does not allow the "Crop photograph" function to be used.

AF type acquisition libraries

• These software libraries are the easiest to configure
• They allow a number of webcams to be connected to the same model simultaneously.
• They allow the "Crop photograph" function to be used

Camera for acquiring photographs

The list of the cameras installed only displays the cameras physically connected to the computer and for which the specific driver, supplied from the manufacturer, has been properly installed.
